Today, Biograd na Moru („white town at the sea“) is located 30km south of Zadar in the Pasman inlet with its beautiful beaches, pine forests and sunshine coves. It has 5.500 inhabitans and is a famous resort with many hotels and leisure facilities. The old settlement has maintained its natural mediaeval charm 'till today.
Biograd na Moru is the dominant tourist destination on the Central Adriatic, blessed with the world famous National Park Kornati Islands as well as Vrana Lake.
